Unusually for your excellent newspaper, your reporting of the Boundary Commission proposals were pretty misleading.

Under the alarmist headline ‘North Wiltshire in Vanishing Act’, you say “The constituency of North Wiltshire is due to disappear as it is currently known.....It will vanish in name and be carved up into surrounding areas.....’ (Gazette 15 September.)  I hasten to reassure those who love North Wiltshire that nothing could be further from the truth.
